Treated Raw Water Reservoir and Pumping Station
DCL Siemens Engineering Ltd. provided full predesign, design and construction engineering services for the upgrading and expansion of the existing water treatment plant and construction of a new treated water reservoir and pumping station in the New Town of Rainbow Lake. The water plant upgrading was undertaken initially in 1985 and the new water reservoir/pumping station was constructed in 1987. In 2000, DCL Siemens Engineering Ltd. provided predesign, design, and construction engineering services for upgrading the Town's raw water transfer and storage system which included construction of an additional raw water storage cell (80 M.I.G), raw water aeration and improvements to the Town's raw water transfer pumping system. The project costs were approximately $2.2 million.
