DCL Siemens does interesting projects, for interesting people, in interesting places. From remote Zama City in the far northwest of Alberta, to the beautiful lake country around Lac La Biche, and into robust and growing towns and counties throughout western Canada, DCL Siemens is there building and maintaining essential infrastructure to improve the quality of life and community economics. We take pride in our accomplishments and strive to make value-added contributions to the world around us. Asset management and sustainability planning typically include asset inventories, video records, asset status and valuations, and capital planning. Infrastructure elements are logged into a database (MIMS or GIS), typically rated as to life expectancy and valued (TCA), and priority upgrades are determined in conjunction with client's (5 or 10 year capital plans) to develop a sustainability plan. An aspect of sustainability we are keen on is based on our strategic planning alliance with CTQ Consultants Ltd. from British Columbia. DCL Siemens provides expertise in municipal engineering and data collection to CTQ and they share their award winning planning expertise with us (Business Revitalization). Water treatment projects include groundwater or surface water sourcing, raw water storage, water treatment process, storage and pumping and distribution systems. Wastewater (sanitary or storm water) treatment projects typically includes collection systems, lift stations and pumping, forcemains, treatment, storage, and disposal systems. Transportation works include traffic impact assessments (TIA), network analysis, roadway planning and classification, structural analysis, and pavement designs. Some of our projects will be highlighted on this page in the near future. |
