DCL Siemens Engineering Ltd. provided detailed infrastructure planning services for the Samson Cree Nation relative to servicing constraints of band-owned off-reserve lands. As part of the assessment, the need to upgrade trunk sanitary and water lines on Louis Avenue was identified.

Engineering works included the provision of detailed design and resident inspection. Additionally, works included overall planning of the Townsite in conjunction with outside planning agencies, assessment of growth potential, assessment of planning and servicing options, liaison with adjacent regulatory agencies, liaison with Band members and Council, liaison with federal funding agencies, and Capital Plan development prior to funding being approved for the project. Once approval was obtained, routine engineering services were provided for this $1.2million project.
