DCL Siemens Engineering Ltd. provides design and general engineering services to the First Nation on an annual basis for CMHC housing developments and in the overall for subdivision planning on and off the reserve.

Work includes preparation of Capital Plan for Samson subdivisions; liaison with planning agencies, housing authorities, Council and Federal agencies; liaising with off-reserve approval agencies; and development of work programs to facilitate First Nation contractors. Services provided entail detailed design and drafting, and resident inspection service during construction. Extra services include a periodic review of overall infrastructure to predict life expectancy and/or bottlenecks affecting growth; and ensuring that the Capital Plan factors in these long term needs. Typical CMHC servicing costs are $700,000 annually. Other subdivision servicing varies up to $1,500,000 in any one year.
